Paulding County Schools Foundation

In early 2009, the United Way and the Paulding County Schools Foundation (PCSF) partnered to develop, promote and support efforts that ensure Paulding County students are successful in school.  When the PCSF campaign chairman, Joe Brownlee, approached Congressman Phil Gingrey with the idea, the Congressman immediately asked if he could kick off the campaign by making the initial contribution. Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation

Honor Flight Northwest Georgia

Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) Homeless Veterans Fund

The Military Order of the Purple Heart is an organization that serves America’s combat-wounded veterans.  Congressman Phil Gingrey continues his efforts to serve and support our veterans.  Tragically, about one-third of homeless adults in America have served their country in the Armed Services.  Congressman Gingrey continues his efforts in fighting for our veterans in congress, and also by contributing to the MOPH Homeless Veterans Fund.  If you would like to learn more about the MOPH or to make a contribution, please visit: http://www.purpleheart.org/ . 
 

U.S. Air Force Academy Georgia Parents’ Club

The USAFA Georgia Parents Club is a support assistance group composed of parents, family, and friends of United States Air Force Academy Cadets from the state of Georgia. The purpose of the USAFA Georgia Parents Club is to provide news and support to parents during the time their son or daughter is away from home attending the Air Force Academy or Air Force Academy Prep School.  As he conducts annual academy nominations, Congressman Phil Gingrey understands the importance of supporting families as they send their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, off to hopefully become our future Air Force officers.  For this reason, Congressman Gingrey chose to support the Parents’ Club.  If  you would like to learn more about the USAFA Georgia Parents’ Club or to make a contribution, please visit: http://www.usafaga.org/ . 

After the devastating earthquake hit Haiti in January 2010, the city’s capital, Port-au-Prince was left in ruins. Hundreds of thousands of lives were lost, families were displaced, and the nation remains in a state of disaster. “Team Gingrey” (including the Congressman, the D.C. Office, and the District Offices) raised over $850.00 in relief contributions that were given to the Salvation Army to provide clean water, food, and shelter for the victims. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, so they will continue to need our help picking up the pieces in the midst of this tragedy for a long time coming.
